Moree Lions Club is pleased to be a part of the inaugural Healing Waters Festival 2009. After some feedback from the public, the club has moved the Festival dates to allow more public participation away from the prime time of the harvest season. Timing our festival to coincide with the Healing Waters Festival allows maximum community participation in the regular festival events.
September 5th - Mens Bowls Night
The Mens Bowls evening has been moved forward to allow the Services Club time to renovate their greens over the spring season. Nominations for the Mens Bowls Night can be made at the services club.

Golden Grain Cotton Festival - Rockdale Garden Party
The Rockdale Garden Party has been a regular evening event in the past and due to the earlier than usual date, we have elected to have a daytime function, commencing at 11.00am, to avoid the cooler evening's of September.
There will be a BBQ lunch and Bar facilities available as well as wine tasting by Wooolaway Wines with a selection their range of fine wines available for consumption on the day from the Lions Bar. Entertained will be provided by Marty and the Moochers and a Fashion Parade presented by the Golden Grain Cotton Festival Princess entrants amidst the magnificent gardens of Edna Hardman's home, "Rockdale".
This will be a "Must Do" afternoon, so mark it on your calendar and bring along your family and friends for what will be a memorable occasion at what is arguably one of Moree's most beautiful locations.
Saturday September 19th 10.30am
