Guest Speaker at a combined Service Clubs Dinner was Ken Morley, who spoke on "How I Got to Australia".
The Lions/Apex bowls competition was won by Apex. The Festival of the Golden Grain was held in support of the Senior Citizens Building Fund. Proceeds were £904-9-10 with Government Subsidy of 2 to 1. The building fund will receive £2,713-9-6
The Club manned the doors and drink tables at the Talkers and Storkers Ball. Assistance was given to the Churchill Foundation Door Knock Appeal, the bank contest and tourist tours of Moree and District.
Members attended the National Convention in Adelaide and the District Convention in Newcastle.
The year started with 36 members and ended with 38 members after gaining 10 new and losing 8 old members. £1,761-17-10 was donated to different appeals during the year.
