1966-1967 President Merv Waghorn
President Merv was installed by DG Jim Bell. The proceeds of the Golden Grain this year went to the Moree and District Preschool. Expected profits from the Carnival were $1,400. The Carnival was held in Balo Street, outside the Memorial Hall and the floats were on display at the northern end of the street. Ten Princesses were entered in the competition which was won by Dianne Boughton. A large crowd attended the Carnival and on the Saturday night a teenage dance was held with over 300 attending.
