Due to transfer of President Jack Cromie to Tamworth in January 1968, the Presidency was then taken over by Lion Bryan Smith. BBQ's were held at Bert & Jean Jovanovich's home. A successful fishing trip was held and the District Convention was well attended by 16 Lions. Lucky envelopes were replaced by a "Chook Wheel". The Race Bar was manned. 36 members at the start of the year and 34 at the end due to 8 transfers and resignations and 6 new members. Members attended the National Convention in Melbourne and the District Convention at Gosford. $1,011.94 was the profit from the Golden Grain Festival. Apex again won the bowls. A successful combined Service Club Dinner was held at the Max Hotel. 910 man hours spent on Club projects and donations of $2,239.95 was given to appeals.
