President's Annual Report


Membersship 50. Work began on the Boughton Oval Lighting. Cost to date $755. Exchange visits of 12 underprivileged children were carried out with Toukley Lions Club. $:400 was donated to the Rescue Vehicle for additional equipment. Raymond Terrace Lions Club contributed $7,334 for flood relief and a further $640 was received from the National Disaster Fund to be distributed by our Club. $1,115 was donated to Brisbane for Flood Relief. The Quarter Horse Cutting Day and the Moree Show gates were manned. The Golden Grain Princess was Susan Cruickshank. She was the first Princess to go to Te awamutu for her prize. The Pensioners wood drive and Christmas Party were held. BBQs were runat the home games of League. A Flood Relief Gold Day was conducted and help was given at the Hospital Fete. $200 was donated to the District Band.
