Membership 37. The Club again staffed the gates at the Show, assisted at the hospital fete and the Pony Club Jumping Championships. The Pensioners Wood Drive and Christmas Dinner went well and the Club staffed the Race Club Bar for the first time. The Club donation of $6,480.31 plus ab IDB of $14,055.78 benefited the Homes for the Aged to the value of $20,536. Floor coverings were supplied to the Community Centre. Miss Personality, Sheryl McEwan raised $3,488.07 for Save Sight. The Lions Ladies donated $1,815 to the Tamworth Renial unit. School Books were sent to Tonga. The Amateur Athletics Club, the District Band, the Far West Cot Fund and the Bill Tresise Memorial Fund all received donations. The Senior Citizens were given a sit on lawn mower by the combined Services Club - our share was $446.
